Faculty 8 has a new professorship: Embedded Systems

Foundation of the Chair of Embedded Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Dortmund University under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Selma Saidi. Research is conducted here on the design, implementation and validation of innovative intelligent embedded systems. The focus is on the development of new hardware and software design methods for embedded and autonomous systems, where performance, predictability and adaptability play a crucial role. Application areas include avionics (on-board electronics in aviation), autonomous driving and the Internet of Things.
